Paperworks & PDS Preparation Structured Training

April 23 and 24, 2019

This free training is on a first come, first serve basis. We can accommodate 20 maximum participants daily. This is a 2-hour training course with access to online training materials. Participants only need to attend 1 session.

The purpose of the ‘Paperworks & PDS Preparation’ Training is for learners to

  • Understanding the importance of preparing application forms and PDS for superannuation, pension, insurance & investments
  • Familiarise, review & interpret common sections of the Statement of Advise relevant to forms and PDS preparation
  • Refer and use the VBP standard checklists for preparing application forms
  • Ensure previous learnings about application forms preparation are retained and kept current

At the end of this training, Financial Planning Assistants will be able to:

  • Refer to Statement of Advice sections relevant to forms preparation
  • Prepare application forms for clients
  • Prepare PDS for clients


This training covers the following,

  • interpret common Statement of Advice sections for forms & PDS preparation
  • review on strategy terminologies – consolidation / rollovers etc
  • quality check forms prepared using the VBP standard checklists for application forms


Target Audience

The training is open to,

  • those whose clients require their team members to re-acquaint themselves with the application forms preparation
  • those whose clients might be considering to outsource these tasks and have this course beneficial to the Financial Planning Assistants


This training is approximately a two (2) hour session.
